Dr. Scarrow is very knowledgeable & truly loves his profession. I would recommend him to all horse owners in the Southside area of Va. as well as our North Carolina Neighbors.

Greg and I would like to thank Dr. Scarrow for the kindness and compassion he showed towards us on Tuesday when we had to have our sweet boy Legion euthanized. Dr. Scarrow did everything within his power to save Legion's life. In the end he was upfront and honest with us about our options. We decided it would be best to let him go and be at peace. Greg has known Dr. Scarrow for approximately 10 years. During those 10 years he has doctored both of his horses. If you want the best for your horses Dr. Scarrow is top shelf.

Today was a very sad day for my family. We had to make the decision, as painful as it was, to put Brandon our horse down after twenty years, he was 34. I can't remember when I've seen a professional man be soft, understanding and caring towards an animal. He made something painful and hard to accept easy to receive. As I sit here eyes full I'm grateful for Southside Equine Service professional from the telephone receptionist to Dr. Scarrow and his little peppermints. May god bless you and your staff. Dr. Scarrow is honest and thorough and best of all, teaches without lecturing. He has calmed me down in certain situations which is often more difficult than treating the horse! Haven't met Dr. Rossner yet, but have heard nothing but good things.
